The open jeep carries you to the Watershed Tower, and you
climb 101 steps to the top. From there the canopy drops away
just enough to reveal the shape of Wild: the river below, the
ridgelines around it, and the forested watershed that gathers
the rain and gives the valley life. This is the first lesson of the place. The river is never alone.

Most hotels begin with a lobby. Wild begins with a decision. From the tower you fly out over the river and into the Cardamom Rainforest, because arrival should mean something. You are not checking into a resort. You are crossing a line.

The rope bridges carry you downstream, suspended over the watershed of ridgelines, springs and streams. Water charges through the rocks below, the falls begin to roar, and the spray rises into a white, wet, wonderful little storm. You fly straight through it, to the Landing Zone. Sheer joy!

After mud, jeeps, green tunnels, 101 steps, rope bridges and a cloud of waterfall mist, civilisation should reappear in a glass. A normal hotel might greet you with a key card and a chilled towel. Wild greets you with the decision to leap, not once, but twice, and a then you are greeted to a tipple of your choice, waiting at the Landing Zone.
